Super *Sun* Screen – Your Daily SPF

We’re back from Ireland and I’m excited to share my reviews and thoughts on some new products I’ve been trying out. In particular, the Supergoop! SuperScreen Daily Moisturizer with 40 SPF. I’ve always been picky when it comes to my daytime moisturizer. Not only am I looking for soothing and hydrating results, the formula has to be suited for under makeup. This can be tricky. I applied the SuperScreen moisturizer everyday in Ireland, and I am happy to report it checked all the boxes for me. It has the clean seal of approval from Sephora – formulated without the bad stuff. This silky, light and smooth formula applies evenly and seeps into the skin very quickly, without leaving any greasy residue. Too heavy of a formula can feel as though you have an extra layer on top of your skin. This was a huge win for me!

Many moisturizers with SPF have a distinctive (unpleasant to me) scent, however the SuperScreen does not! Fragrance in skincare is also tricky because too potent can be a turnoff, and too light might not mask enough of the unpleasant smelling ingredients. Important to note, Supergoop uses only natural, not synthetic, fragrances, and some of their products are even fragrance free. The price point is $38 for 1.7oz. This is much less than the previous moisturizer I was wearing, and similarly a little does go a long way!
