Face Mask Friday – Review
Happy Friday all – and 20% off Sephora Rouge Holiday Bonus Sale! I got the OleHenriksen Cold Plunge Pore Mask with my points a few months back and have used up the whole sample. I have been in search of a new clay based mask, as my previous favorite got discontinued. I use this mask when my skin is feeling dull and needs a good detox.
You take the plunge by applying the mask all over a cleansed face, avoiding the eye area. The mask has a chilling sensation which is very relaxing, and purifies and diminishes pores. According to the brand, the mask is “inspired by the ‘cold plunge’ part of a Scandinavian sauna cycle, this cooling clay mask detoxifies, controls oil, and reduces the look of pores. The innovative formula harnesses the power of alpine willow herb and snow lotus—antioxidant-rich botanicals that have adapted to thrive in extreme cold—to soothe, mattify, and refine pores.”
Sit back and enjoy towel time for about 15 minutes, letting the mask settle in. To complete the mask and cold plunge process, you add cool water to thaw the mask and lather it off. The lather is such a luxurious experience rather than just rinsing, and it’s also less messy that way. I also really love their Banana Bright Eye Crème. If you purchase now at Sephora you can get it discounted. Enjoy!!
